Arrival time - Full-day classes begin at 10am and finish at approx. 4pm. Half-day classes will be either be 10am-1pm or 2pm-5pm. Evening classes will be 6pm-9pm. Please carefully check your selection when you book online. We advise students to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their class or workshop starts. During full-day workshops and one-week courses there is a one-hour lunch break.

Equipment - There is no need to bring anything with you - all equipment is provided. You may want to bring a notepad and pen if you'd like to make notes. 

Lunch and refreshments - Lunch is not provided, however there are lots of eateries nearby in Hyde Park Corner Shopping Center. Tea and coffee and a few sweet treats are provided throughout the day.

Getting to the school - Dalton Bloom Floral Academy is situated 500m down from the entrance to Hyde Park Corner shopping mall. From Jan Smuts turn onto 6th Road and continue for 500m or so.

Certificates - Students who complete either a One Week, Two or Three Day programme will receive a Dalton Bloom Floral Academy certificate on completion of the course.

International students from outside of the South Africa must obtain the correct visa to study with us.

Letter to support visa - If you require a letter to support a visa application please contact our team - info@daltonbloom.com - who will confirm your booking and your intended attendance with Dalton Bloom Flower Academy.

Accessibility - Our Floral Academy is situated on the ground floor with easy access.

Parking - There is secure parking within the complex for Dalton Bloom students and visitors.

Age restrictions - The school can only admit people aged 16 and over.

Translators - Our lessons are delivered in English with demonstrations and teachers to support your learning in English.

Accommodation - The flower school is situated with access to many hotels nearby. We advise researching the best option for you via a booking's website.

Flowers - All of our lessons will feature flowers from our trusted suppliers and embrace the season and will often include luxurious imported blooms. Every day you get to take home your arrangements and the flowers used.

Photography - You can't bring your own photographer, however, please feel free to take photos yourself. We have a photographer that will attend certain lessons to document your journey with us, if you do not want to be in any photos, please let us know.

Deposit notice for purchase - if you have purchased a deposit for one of our courses the balance must be made in full 2 weeks before the first day of the course. The balance due will be sent to you via a payment link. Should you fail to pay the full balance 2 weeks before the course start date, your space will be put back on sale for others to purchase. You deposit is not refundable but date changes are permitted if we can accommodate the change.

Student loans - We do not provide a student loan scheme but soon you will be able to spread your payment with PayJustNow at check out. Please visit their website here for more details.
