One Day Designing for Dinner Workshop

Under the expert guidance of Karen, founder of the Dalton Bloom Floral Academy, you'll explore both the theory and hands-on skills needed to design extraordinary floral centrepieces and floral candelabra. The day begins with an in-depth look at how to select, purchase, treat, and condition flowers for maximum freshness and longevity. You'll delve into floral structure, balance, colour theory, and table décor styling — essential knowledge for both floral enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Then, it's time to create. Each student will design a luxurious low table arrangement and learn how to adorn candelabra with florals — ideal for grand occasions and intimate dinner parties alike. With plenty of one-on-one guidance, you’ll walk away with newfound confidence, creative inspiration, and an abundance of beautiful flowers to take home and enjoy.

Whether you're an enthusiastic entertainer or an aspiring floral designer, Designing for Dinner is your invitation to discover the beauty and impact of flowers on the table.

Suitable for - complete beginners and those looking to re-familiarise themselves with core skills.

Time: Full day classes will start at 9am and finish at around 5pm with an hour break for lunch. You are welcome to arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start of the class and enjoy some light refreshments.
