Footed Vase Design - Half Day Workshop

Surround yourself with beautiful seasonal blooms and join us for a relaxed, half-day workshop where you’ll learn one of floristry’s most versatile and rewarding skills: creating a stunning low table footed ceramic vase arrangement.

This classic design is a true staple in floral styling - ideal for turning simple garden cuttings into a striking centerpiece, brightening up your home, or dressing up a special occasion. Our programme Director Karen, will start with a demonstration with a step by step guide on how to achieve balance, structure and sustainable design in every arrangement.

Then it’s your turn to get hands-on as you create your own arrangement, with plenty of one-on-one support and tips along the way.

We’ll also share our best-kept secrets for conditioning and caring for your flowers so they stay fresh and fabulous for as long as possible. And of course, you’ll take home your beautiful creation including the bespoke handmade ceramic vase you arranged your flowers into worth R500.00! 

Whether you’re discovering a new passion, brushing up on existing skills, or simply treating yourself or a loved one to a creative floral scented morning, this workshop is the perfect introduction to the art of floral design for the home. All tools are provided and available for purchase should you like to start your floristry tool kit.

Time: Morning classes will start at 9am and end between 12.30 - 1pm. You are welcome to arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start of the class and enjoy some light refreshments. Evening classes will start at 5.30pm and end at approx 8.30 - 9pm.

Bookings close for each class at 10am the day before. If you book after 10am we will not be able to accommodate you.
