Large Scale Interactive Designs - Full Day Workshop

Large Scale Interactive Designs is a dynamic, hands-on experience created for those ready to work big, bold, and beautifully. Taught by Karen Dalton, with over two decades of experience in the wedding industry, this workshop explores the art of creating impactful floral designs at scale.

You’ll learn how to design and build statement arrangements set into oversized urns and elevated on tall pedestals. These are floral features that transform spaces and define weddings and events. The day covers structure, mechanics, proportion, flower selection, balance, and movement, with a strong focus on how large-scale designs interact with their surroundings.

Ideal for florists and creatives looking to elevate their event work, this one-day workshop will give you the confidence, technical knowledge, and creative vision to create immersive floral installations that truly command a room. All the flowers that you use to create your arrangement will be yours to take home. Tools, Urns and pedestals will be made available for you to use.

No prior floral training is required to attend this course.

Time: Full day classes will start at 9am and end at approx. 4pm. You are welcome to arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start of the class and enjoy some light refreshments.  

Bookings close for each class at 10am the day before. If you book after 10am we will not be able to accommodate you.

In the unlikely event that minimum enrolment is not met, attendees will be offered the option to transfer to a future date or receive a store credit of equal value.
