Table Styling & Florals - Half Day Workshop

Table Styling + Florals is a half day workshop new to our Academy offering, designed for anyone who wants to elevate the art of entertaining. Learn how to style a table that feels considered, effortless, and memorable - perfect for celebrations, intimate dinners and special occasions.

You’ll be guided through the fundamentals of table composition, layering, colour harmony, and proportion, while learning how to pair florals seamlessly with linens, tableware, candles, and finishing touches. From floral centrepieces to place settings and thoughtful details, this course will give you the confidence and creative eye to design tables that truly impress.

Ideal for beginners, creatives, and hosts alike, this hands-on experience blends practical techniques with refined styling principles - leaving you inspired and ready to create tables that tell a story.

No prior floral training is required to attend this course.

Course Highlights

Theoretical Session:

• Purchasing flowers- where & what to look out for
• Conditioning, care & treatment of flowers
• Essential tools & products
• Principles and elements of floral designs
• Working with vessels of different shapes & sizes
• Table composition, layering, colour harmony, proportion & scale
• Table decor sourcing

Practical Sessions where you will create your own floral design to take home:

• Table styling (individual & group)
• Small vessel table arrangement using the spiral technique & floral frogs

Time: Half day classes will start at 9am and end at approx. 12.30pm. You are welcome to arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start of the class and enjoy some light refreshments. 

Bookings close for each class at 10am the day before. If you book after 10am we will not be able to accommodate you.

In the unlikely event that minimum enrolment is not met, attendees will be offered the option to transfer to a future date or receive a store credit of equal value. All tools are provided and available for purchase should you like to start your floristry tool kit.
