Wedding Essentials Floristry Start Up - Two Day Course

So your best friend has asked you to do her wedding flowers and of course you'd love to because secretly you've always wanted to start your own floristry business. But you know you need some technical training to make sure nothing fails on the day because YouTube can only take you so far. This two day programme combines all of the essential floral designs and business knowledge you'll need and much more because nothing beats hands-on, in studio training.

Have all your questions answered, get help where you need it and leave with a product that you're confident to deliver and charge for. This course focuses on wedding floral designs, pulling together traditional techniques that no floristry production can do without as well as tried and tested modern day artful mechanics and styles. 

This two day course is facilitated by our Academy Director Karen Dalton, who draws on over two decades of experience in wedding production and floral design. Karen is well known for her approachable teaching style and commitment to mentorship. You couldn't be in better hands.

No prior floral training is required to attend this course.

Practical Sessions where you will create your own floral designs to take home:

• Wearables: flower girl crown, boutonniere
• Domed, semi-wired bridal bouquet
• Small vessel table arrangement using the spiral technique & floral frogs
• Trending wired bridal bouquet
• Large display floral arrangement

We are confident that you will leave this course feeling inspired, motivated and very well equipped to build something of your own. This is an intensive programme - so bring all your energy. Yes we provide cake - purely for sustenance of course.

Time: Full day classes will start at 9am and end at approx. 4.30pm. You are welcome to arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start of the class and enjoy some light refreshments. 

Bookings close for each class at 10am the day before. If you book after 10am we will not be able to accommodate you.
